February at times can be very cold and harsh. As we go through the month there is more and more daylight. Sometimes when feeling challenged by bitter cold in February, I think of the progression toward more and more light with warmth eventually to follow.
This has been a church year with much growth continuing and with new beginnings. Among the important new beginnings are the work of Gail Barrows, presently Ministry Intern for Pastoral Care, and the work of the ministry team begun this year. With Lauren Andreottola coordinating, we have made beginnings in programs for young adults, youth, and children. Continuing strongly are the church services, the classes, the outreach programs, and much more.
As this year continues, you can think about your own connection with the church. Perhaps there are gifts you can offer that will help the church grow further ways.
